A favourite in Bacharach. Delicious food with friendly service. I came without reservation, not recommended on a weekend by the way, and since it was just me, they managed to squeeze me in. This visit I went with the Aphrodite and enjoyed my meal very much. If you are visiting, highly recommend a lunch/dinner here. Do book to avoid disappointment.

There was no atmosphere at all, it was more like a cantine. Too many lamb dishes on menu, hardly any fish.My pork was very dry, could not eat it. Will not go here again or recommend to anyone.

We ate here on vacation and just got a table on Friday evening, which was only reserved from 8:00 p.m. The waitresses were really super friendly and very accommodating. The Metaxxa sauce was more of a cream sauce with a little Metaxxa but was still very tasty. The leg of lamb was super tender and the octopus (starter) was super tasty. We had a nice evening with really good food

No EC card payment and that in 2020! Service oasis Germany. I had to walk 500 meters to the machine and pay 5.80 fees at the Volksbank. Incredible 😣

Sometimes I can't understand the previous reviews. We were here as "tourists / vacationers" with a group of 10 people. Called 1 week in advance and made a reservation. Everything went great and without any problems! The food was hot and the portions large. The staff is super nice and competent. As an example of the great service: We had 2 small children with us. One of them dropped the pacifier on the floor. Immediately they asked whether they should boil the pacifier / disinfect it with hot water. Really attentive and great. Thank you! All general hygiene measures were also observed. We can only recommend this restaurant. Reservation may be recommended.

starter bad: too expensive for that. instead of grilled, deep-fried. so too greasy, not flavored. skordalia and tzatzik spoiled with old garlic taste. so inedible! After all, I know myself as the ex-wife of a half-Greek! Have 22 y. experience in preparing original Greek food, especially the skordalia. eating in nov19 lamb chop was good. meat heriaplatte also top. Service friendly except for that, the boss completely ignored my reference to old garlic. red wine light cork note. ouzo from the house too warm for my taste. I drink it chilled. but that is a matter of taste. Ambience outside under the pergola is beautiful. a bit darker inside, but not overcrowded in Greek. I am ready to give the food a second chance!

Unfortunately, the last visit was totally overwhelmed and impatient, not very friendly, annoyed and uncoordinated staff. One hour waiting time !!! Food very good! Unfortunately, in Corona times, a sufficient safety distance of 1.5 meters outside is not guaranteed.

Fresh Greek cuisine, the calamaris with scampi were very tasty, as was the leg of lamb with feta. The service is very competent and child-friendly. Overall, a good address to go out to eat in Bacharach, even if the prices are a little higher than other Greek restaurants. We would love to come back

Here you can get delicious food even after 8 p.m. Friendly staff. Nice place.

The waitress was impolite and unsmiling. When asked to warm up baby food in a jar in the kitchen, she categorically refused, citing the situation with the virus. The food was not bad but attitude is poor.

Our main course was delicious (lamb skewers and pork with metaxa sauce). It was really busy for the staff and for that reason they totally forgot about our aperatives. The staff was nice but stressed. Unfortunately there were a lot of fruit flies that were hunting on our drinks and food. So: + food is great + staff is nice - To busy staff and fruit flies everywhere

I came here with my friend Smisken, because ZEUS is his favourite god, and the food itself tasted as if it were made from the battlegrounds, it was amazing! It came lightning fast, and was also affordable! Thank you for taking on the challenge of pleasing my friend, we will definitely be back for more Zeus!

Excellent staff, service and restaurant

A German twist on Greek cuisine, amazing! The gyro meat was not what we're used to and it was so delicious! They are open late and have excellent, attentive service. We had the Aphrodite and Demeter plates.

We had dinner here outside on our last night and it did not disappoint. Hostess was so lovely. She and her husband really know how to run a restaurant. Great food and service. Started the meal with a shot of ouozo and then right into deliciousness! At the end of the meal the hostess gave the kids a little sweet treat to make everyone feel at home.

Friendly, fast, nice selection, good value. Very nice lamb.

Best Greek food ever

The food here was absolutely amazing! But somehow the service was even better! Not only did they check on us every few minutes and give suggestions about the menu, but they had English Menus! So many places just saw tourists as a source of money. Not these guys! They sent over a server with good English skills who knew the food by both the German and the English names. She was able to answer any question we gave her, in either language. Our German friends/tour guides loved her just as much as we did. Ultimately, if I were ever remotely close to this area again, I would go out of my way to eat at this restaurant again!
